Learning a new language has many benefits for a child’s mind, languages not only increase our ability to effectively communicate with others but also increases one's confidence in utilising language per say.

At Raising Explorers, children have the opportunity to learn two global languages in Arabic and Urdu. These languages are most popularly used all over both the Asian and Arab Peninsula.  Children can find the benefit of learning these languages during verbal communication with friends, family or others, when reading books or signs when travelling or for exams should they choose to obtain a qualification.

Arabic School

We want every child to understand and be familiar with the Arabic Language. Each child should be able to confidently and effectively communicate in the Arabic Language.

The Arabic School Service uses a mixture of modern day Arabic in the curriculum and teachers also incorporate core words and phrases used in the Quran and Hadith. Using key words and phrases from The Quran and Hadith helps children to understand the Quran better and recognise what they are actually reading. This allows the children to have a balanced understanding of the Arabic Language.

Urdu School

We want every child to understand and be familiar with the Urdu Language. Each child should be able to confidently and effectively communicate in the Urdu Language.

The Urdu School Service uses a balanced curriculum and the teachers  incorporate core words and phrases used in day to day life. This allows the children to have a balanced understanding of how to apply and communicate the Urdu Language in the real world.

Raising Explorers children can access 5 key services as part of our Out Of School Club that we have embedded into our weekly timetable here at the centre:

Childcare services available 7 days a week with extended opening hours

Our dedicated childcare team is available every day to cater to your child’s needs. We recognise that working parents have varying schedules, so we offer extended opening hours to accommodate everyone.
Homework Support Service available 7 days a week

We provide qualified teachers every day to help children with their homework in a dedicated homework room, complete with IT facilities. This setup enables working parents to pick up their children and spend quality time together without the stress of homework.
School Holiday Club and Activities
During each school holiday, we extend our opening hours to support parents with childcare from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm. We plan a fun-packed timetable to ensure children enjoy their time off school with planned activities such as arts and crafts, baking, games rooms, sports, and much more. Additionally, we offer a breakfast club to start the day right.
Quran and Madrassah Service
We provide dedicated Islamic and academically qualified staff for parents looking for Quran, Tajweed, and Islamic Studies for their children. Our teaching approach mirrors the classroom format used in schools. We offer four alternative options to accommodate your needs: Weekday Madrassah, Weekend  Madrassah, SEND Madrassah, Sunday Madrassah
Language School (Available each Sunday)
Children have the opportunity to learn a new language by attending our Urdu School and Arabic School, both taught by qualified subject teachers. Each language school follows a well-developed curriculum, and we aim for every child to be able to converse fluently in their chosen language.
