About Raising Explorers
Raising Explorers is a shared brand and trading name used by separate limited companies providing childcare and related services at the locations identified below. This website provides a shared source of information about those locations and is maintained on behalf of the participating companies.
References to “Raising Explorers”, “we”, “us”, “our” or “our branches” should be read in context as referring to the relevant service provider or to the participating locations collectively. Use of the same brand and website does not mean that all locations are operated by a single legal entity.
Your childcare provider
Childcare services at each location are provided by the company identified for that location below. That company is responsible for the services it agrees to provide under the applicable childcare agreement. Please contact your setting if you would like confirmation of your provider.
If your child attends more than one location, or transfers between locations, please check which company will provide the relevant services and whether a separate agreement is required.
Ofsted registration and identification
The Ofsted registration number shown on your childcare contract and invoices provides a reference for locating the relevant registration. You can use that number to search Ofsted’s Find an inspection report service and view the registration information, including the registered provider.
Ofsted registration numbers and Companies House registration numbers serve different purposes. The Ofsted number identifies the relevant Ofsted registration; the Companies House number identifies the incorporated company. Read the registration information alongside the company details below. A company may operate more than one location, and the applicable registration arrangements should be checked for the setting your child attends.
Enquiries and enrolment
Enquiries received through this shared website may be directed to the appropriate location. Submitting an enquiry does not, by itself, confirm a childcare place. The relevant provider will confirm availability, fees, applicable terms and enrolment arrangements. Dates and booking arrangements for occasional programmes are confirmed separately.
Fees, payments and queries
Please direct questions about agreements, invoices, payments or bookings to the location providing your child’s services. Staff can confirm the relevant company and payment details. Contact your setting if information on your documents appears inconsistent with this page.
Concerns and complaints
Raise concerns with the manager of the location providing the service. The relevant provider’s complaints procedure explains how your concern will be considered and any further steps available. Nothing on this page limits your statutory rights or any company’s legal responsibilities.
